Celebrating New Year in Cameron Highland !!

Been a little bit busy recently with so many things to catch up
therefore, was a little bit late to upload the photos taken during the trip to Cameron Highlands
We started off late in ipoh .. The traffic to Brinchang where our hotel is located was a little bit slow .. but we manage to reach Equatorial by 1.30pm .. But we can only check in into our apartment at 3pm therefore, we went outside to snap a few pics ..

This picture is taken by my cousin 'Ah Chin'. This is my family though my bf and my eldest bro's gf is missing .. So this is an imcomplete family pic .. Hahahaha .. As you can see, we were wearing short pants .. We regretted that right away as we underestimated Cameron .. It can be as cold as Liverpool during rainy season !! The strong wind doesnt lose out either ..

This is the apartment we rented .. As there were 7 of us, we went in 2 cars with dad driving the Exora and my 2nd bro drove his gf's Myvi .. We rented only the top floor .. not the entire building .. but that alone cost us Rm600+ >.<

Thats me, eldest bro 'Ken' , cousin 'Chin' and 2nd bro's gf 'Rachael'. The one standing on the chair raising both his hands (scare ppl kenot see him) is my cousin .. hahahaha .. he's really a very funny guy doing all the funny things to make everyone laugh !

This is the complete group photo with a table acting as a tripod. ^_^ . After leaving our stuff in the apartment, my 2nd bro 'Melphis' suggested to go to Raju Strawberry Farm to pick our own strawberries and munch on the spot !

Unfortunately, we were told that the strawberries in his farm is not in the harvest season yet,

therefore, we wont be able to pick them ourselves .. Determined not to leave empty-handed, we headed towards the cafe beside the stall

to grab a plate of Strawberry Waffle !

The strawberries grew in Malaysia is very different from the one i visit in Sheffield, Uk

As these are for commercial use, the strawberries are grown carefully. Therefore, its neater

After shopping for vegetables and honey in Kea farm, we headed toward the steamboat restaurant .. As my father was wearing short pants, his ex-colleague dared him to steamboat in the open air ..

Everyone was waiting anxiously to start munching .. it was a pity that it wasnt a buffet

The chicken stock soup base and tom yam soup base ~! Its really nice having a hot pot of food to fill up ur stomach in the freezing weather ~!

We were all freezing .. Look at Ken's hair .. We tried many many times to capture a perfect shot but failed .. the wind was quite strong that morning ..

Took this picture in the Equatorial Hotel Lobby ... As my bro doesnt wanna give up picking strawberries .. We tried another farm beside the hotel and yeay ! you pay Rm20 to get a tray to pick 500gm of strawberries !! We were all so excited !

Nice reddish strawberry .. Yum Yum !!

Manage to get 4 reddish strawberries .. Though i'm not a big fan of strawberry but it was fun plucking them :p

and we had 2 full tray of reddish big fat strawberries !! we were soooooooo full munching down all those strawberries !

Came upon this beautiful orchid in a farm on the way home .. Really really beautiful .. It caught my attentiong with its beauty

and i saw my favorite flower !! Even though its also called Lily, but its different from the Lily you get in ipoh or kl .. Its quite rare .. and this is all i've posted about Cameron ..

More post coming up soon .. Made a chocolate cake with my bro 'Ken' to celebrate his birthday !

And went to Pantai Remis to grab seafood ( Squids, Prawns, Fishes ) .. Saw an amazing fish outside the restaurant near my house. The length of the fish is as long as a rectangular table !! And lastly, seafood bbq today !!
