Ken Chai's Birthday cake ! ( 1st post)

I knew I posted this rather late ..
but i've been really busy recently ..
To be exact, this post is 11 days late ..
As in the cake was made on the 9th Jan
My bro, Ken Chai, made this cake
for his birthday celebration with his gf
I was only there to help ..

At first, we plan to buy the konyaku jelly to decorate the top of the cake .. After heating the mixture, i added some chocolate emulco to add taste to the jelly ..We bought the plain flavor konyaku powder ..

After that, we pour the jelly mixture into the bear mould ..
It came out cute .. but we found that the taste doesnt go along with the chocolate cake
therefore, it went straight into our stomach .. hahahhahaa

This is the cake batter .. My bro pour everything in ..
Although it looks a bit gross .. but it turn out to be quite delicious

It looks nice, isnt it ..
We were actually trying to make Chocolate Mousse Cake ..

Thats Ken pouring the batter ..
It was really fun to make our own cake ..

After preheating the toaster, the next step
of course is to bake the cake ..
BUT please remember one very important thing

Please clear whatever thats inside the toaster before preheating it ..
You can end up like this ..
Ken actually forgot to get this out from the toaster
and preheat it straight away ..

Look at this ..
This is wad will happen to plastic when it is heated up

Next is to melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate
Then, add in some butter and whip cream ..
This will be the chocolate topping for the cake ..

After the cake is ready, we cut off the upper part
The cake is then cut into 2 slice ..
Between the 2 slice of cake .. we pour in some white chocolate
In this way, it'll have different taste ..

And finishes the cake with chocolate topping ..
Please do not do like what we did ..
You'll end up having a mess ..
Like we did .. hahahaha
We should have put the cake on a tray that have holes underneath
In that way, the chocolate wont get stuck on the plate

This is the outcome ..
If the sides of the plate isnt messy ..
it doesnt looks so gross ..
but nonetheless, the taste was acceptable ..
Thats all for now

~ Adios ~
